THIS is the dramatic moment Russia's £300m stealth warship that was designed to carry hypersonic missiles went up in flames in a humiliating blow for Vladimir Putin.

New footage shows devastating fire damage to the new £307 million warship intended to carry Putin’s lethal Mach-9 hypersonic missiles....

...The scale of the blaze, which started on Friday in St Petersburg, has been viewed as a massive set back to the Kremlin’s naval modernisation programme.

Huge flames and thick smoke were seen rising from the corvette Provornyy at Severnaya Verf shipyard where it was being built.

Well, since 1991 under Bush Sr all naval tactical weapons were -suppose-to be removed from all surface vessels, but I see your point.

It is not a big ship either. A Harpoon anti-ship missile with it’s 500lb warhead would probably cut it in half.

Warships are obsolete now so they probably burned it on purpose

the future is biological warfare

much cheaper, in fact it actually brings in billions,

Just declare a pandemic and people will race in for a genetic engineered immune disorder injection, battleships are no longer needed

That’s a shame.

Seems the Persians are having the same problem.

Matter of fact it has happened to the U.S. Navy.

There’s been a change in plans, we’re bombing Sudbury, not Windsor.

The warship the USN lost in a shipyard fire was 16 times the displacement of the Russian corvette.

And off the top of my head, I'd guess about 16 times the cost.

Oh it was just a little joke.

One major difference is that ours was set by an arsonist, while Russia gives no real answers to why these things happen.

And Russia has had quite a number of these types of catastrophic “accidents” happen over the years. One notable example is the Kursk in 2000 when the subs own torpedoes exploded aboard ship and sank with no survivors. They could not get into the sub but refused external help at all. Weeks went by with no luck when they finally accepted Norway’s aid.

The biggest threat to our military is the Commicrat party and the Leftists inside our own government.

Also, Russia’s navy is mostly small corvettes and missile boats. They possess only 12 actual destroyers, 3 cruisers, and 1 carrier. And Russia was claiming that they were “stealth.” (However, these boats can do their damage.)

Don’t let facts get in the way of a good scam! My only question is who will take the (physical) hit when they can’t pretend “hypersonics” is real anymore?
