Nearly $100 billion at minimum has been stolen from COVID-19 relief programs set up to help businesses and people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, the U.S. Secret Service said Tuesday.
The estimate is based on Secret Service cases and data from the Labor Department and the Small Business Administration, said Roy Dotson, the agency’s national pandemic fraud recovery coordinator, in an interview. The Secret Service didn’t include COVID-19 fraud cases prosecuted by the Justice Department....

With all due respect, since all “Pandemic Relief Funds” came from taxpayers (ultimately, at least), its ALL stolen.
No wonder there are so many help wanted signs everywhere.

A great deal more than that was stolen to pay for all the jabs, PCR tests, rapid tests, testing sites and kickbacks to hospitals for covid treatments. pfizer/moderna/j&j are grateful.
At least in California they bare doing something about it.
Had a letter from the CA EDD (E =Employment, D = Development, D = Department) threatening me with loosing all my unemployment money ie..pay it all back with taxes and penalties) unless I proved that I didn't have earned income that was not reported.
Sent them last 2 years tax returns.
After a couple of weeks 2 terse letters...one for each year.
"No further action is required".
THIS is how the election fraud was funded!

I assumed this the moment it was first proposed.
No kidding.
So, when these funds were first released for employers to keep their staff on payroll, I heard from a friend that one of her customers personally knows at least three people who fraudulently acquired some of those funds for their own individual use.
The demographic was certainly not Amish. He said that a pretty good number of people in his neighborhood took literal advantage of that assistance (which should never have been implemented anyway).

They mass hired dozens of claim processors without criminal background checks. Thousands of fraudulent claims were approved without any research at all.
They also sent a hundred million dollars to Nigeria.
The executive director of this state agency was appointed by the Governor. She and her wealthy husband have been high level fundraisers for the state Democratic Party for decades.
When a state Attorney General investigator showed up to question her about the massive fraud, she refused to answer any questions.
Six months later, the Biden Administration hired her for a Washington D.C. job as an employment expert.
It’s just a kleptocracy.
Yes, and organized crime of a much more sinister sort stole the personal information of millions of WORKING Americans to file UI claims using this info. A LOT were caught, but too many were not..
Back then we were constantly laying off employees both temporary and permanently.
We would get notice of an employee filing an unemployment claim then create a file where we would record the checks (we received copies of them) they received during their period of unemployment and protest any payments made after their recall.
Anybody who was fired and filed a claim, we would protest it and pursue it all the way to an unemployment hearing with an arbitrator in order to prove the termination was justified.
This isn’t rocket science...

It’s the same on every government program. Some less, some far more. Covid relief was a government imposed scam/fraud from the beginning.
Can anyone here explain why the Secret Service is doing this investigation?
