SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) — A Satanic holiday display has made a reappearance under the Illinois State Capitol dome.
Members of the Satanic Temple of Illinois came to Springfield, Ill. Monday to install a Satanic display in the rotunda. The installation depicts the deity Baphomet as a baby. Satanic Temple members said that the display is meant to represent plurality, unity, compassion, and empathy, and described it as "a display of positive values."

if folks want “the 10 commandments”, ( which ntw is in the old testament, that some christians have taught since the ‘80’s, no longer applies since Jesus fulfilled the law), inside a state building, then since the 1st amendment is viable, why not?

i believe the 1st Amendment is for every citizen, or none. no ‘special’ groups!
But there's never any inclusion for Christian symbols. No crosses. No nativity scenes. Only secular "holiday trees" and Santa Claus.
Every other religion can have religious symbols in public spaces, except Christianity.
