Dallas same way: No prosecutions for mid level theft. Fortunately, the police are not on board with this. Meanwhile, baby formula is locked up with the cigars and good booze.
Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio are all leftists bastions in Texas. Crime will come in non leftists areas in Texas just like they do in any state in this country.
I have a somewhat different take. Like liberals, I don’t blame the criminal, but rather I blame the system that ALLOWS these people to be loose on society.
If we want to (virtually) end crime, do what Rudy and Bloomberg did in NYC, where they LOCKED UP BAD GUYS...it’s not hard, and it cut the murder rate there by 90% (literally, 90%).
There will always be bad guys. This guy was cut loose probably on a $25k bail after the first murder. Now it’s $1M...if we’re lucky, he won’t have access to the money - if not, more innocent people will die. Just wonderful.

If the anti-white and anti-Christian murderer who carried out the parade massacre in Waukesha is not charged with a hate crime, it will be conclusive proof of your theory.
He has an extensive body of work readily available on the internet screaming hatred of whites, and then he carried out this horrendous crime.
If it wasn't a hate crime, the concept does not exist.
