Is this a favorable sign?
22-23 is not that crazy - when we hit 30 then we got something
Why waste all those campaign funds on a losing effort - keep the money!
Now we see House members serving for decades and then "retiring" as wealthy people. Something is very wrong with that.
“Is this a favorable sign?”
No question. Political types are generally not the brightest, but they are cunning. They realize a job as a representative comes with power, prestige, and the ability to make huge amounts of money unethically. (Ethics aren’t a problem for most drawn to politics).
So, it would take something serious to force this many rats to abandon the gravy train. Seeing your chances of being re-elected evaporate will do that.
So it IS a good sign! :) *opens another box of wine*
How many are seeking higher offices?
That could be the plan.
Clizza forgot to mention my congressman, Peter DeFazio, the Chair of the transportation committee, after 37 years he is quitting!!!!
It’s a start........................
Well there is the possibility that once the GOP takes back Congress, they’ll offer their own RINO Build Back Better plan every bit as stupid as the democrat’s.
But there is a better chance, we’ll be less stupid with the GOP in charge. So yes. Favorable.
I am sure that Big Pharma knows who provided the source of their Billion$ of dollar$ of profit from 'vaccines'.
I am sure it will be partially returned in the form of political contributions.
but its a year out.....theres more to come im sure...
TERM LIMITS
PERIOD
I think they’re going for a lower office in hell.
Considering the volume of damage Biden has done in 11 months-—we might not have another year.
Correct—the best retirements are those with lots of Big Pharma bucks.
Mission accomplished!
It’s no fun to be in the minority party, especially when the majority party is really pissed off about how it was treated while in the minority.

DeFazio is one of the sleaziest members of the H of R.
There is some talk about taxing unrealized capital gains. With all the IPO gifts and investment deals available to congressmen, maybe some will want to avoid that train coming down the tracks.
