Biden is set to address the nation Tuesday afternoon to lay out his administration’s strategy to fight COVID-19 as the new omicron variant rages throughout the nation.

is set to deliver remarks just hours after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that omicron variant is now the dominant strain of the coronavirus in the United States, making up 73.2% of new infections in the week that ended Dec.18—up from just 12.6% the prior week.

Across the country, schools are beginning to shift to remote learning, restaurants are closing their doors to the public, and events are once again being canceled as a result of the new omicron variant of the coronavirus. Broadway shows in New York City have been canceled, along with the Rockettes' "Christmas Spectacular" shows. The National Hockey League also announced a pause to its season.

Too late to promise easier testing … he has had 11months. There are already enough vaccine facilities…. that’s not the problem. Anybody that hasn’t gotten the vaccine doesn’t want it. Increased support at hospitals … what does that mean. Hospital personnel are getting fired for not getting vaccinated. Also, seems like he is promising more than he can do .. He already said he was going to shut down the virus … well, he hasn’t.

If we want to support hospitals, then mandate that doctors are encouraged, supported and allowed to administer proven treatments.

This would be the single most significant change we could make.

I doubt there would be any serious opposition to the plan...except from those who are profiteering from the virus in some way, either monetary or politically.

Anybody that hasn’t gotten the vaccine doesn’t want it.

I looked the other day and the nation has about 62% "fully vaccinated", whatever that label means this week.

That is an uptick of 4% over two months time, which seems slow. And now that I am hearing radio advertising for Comirnaty I would say the government push may come to an end. That brand name, I believe, does not benefit from the liability waivers.
