Proof of vaccination against coronavirus will be required to enter city bars, restaurants, gyms, theaters and sports venues under a new mandate announced by Mayor Michelle Wu during a raucous press conference.
“Vaccination is the most powerful tool we have to fight this pandemic,” said Wu Monday, announcing the city’s new rules as protesters flowed inside shouting “USA, USA!”
In addition, all city workers will be required to get the vaccine if they want to keep their jobs, Wu said. Workers must have at least one dose by Jan. 15 and two doses by Feb. 15. The new, stricter requirement for city workers eliminates an option for weekly testing in lieu of getting the shot. Roughly 90% of the city’s 18,000 employees are in compliance with the current vaccine mandate, Wu said.
Patrons at the “select” indoor spaces where proof of vaccine will be required for entry will be on the same timeline, Wu said. Children must be vaccinated to enter those same spaces starting in March.

We have new neighbors from Connecticut. All their children work and live in New England. They tell us they moved to Florida to escape the insane gov’t control of their state.
They said they came to Florida because of governor Desantis’ approach to governance and dealing with the Covid virus.
They grew very weary of the approach to this virus by the gov’t. in their state and wanted to live free again. So upset that they left their family and friends, their own children behind.
So Coof Positive Warren can show her jab card and drink a beer in Boston but a unjabbed person who doesn’t have the Coof can’t.
Boston in 70% fully and 80% partially jabbed and they still have huge outbreaks, even among the triple vaxxed.

With the exception of NH, CT has so far been the one of the least insane states. No jab mandates for state employees unlike MA. Hell, just today Lamont in CT suspended the weekly test mandate for unjabbed state employees who have no symptoms for at least two weeks, to save tests for those with symptoms.
Thar kills their argument that testing people weekly just because is a life or death must to stop the Coof.

The press conference was just over a hour. From the time she made the announcement to the end it was a constant barrage of boos, USA chants, etc.
A delusional Mayor from a nearby city had to yell over the protesters then had the gall to say something to the effect of prentendign they were supporting him with their USA chants.

When Houston placed a smoking ban in bars and restaurants, businesses were built just outside the city limits welcoming all the smokers.
Boston has several neighboring cities to Boston. I’d imagine they will have some sharp restaurant and bar owners that will actually advertise that there’s no mandate in effect at their establishments.
I feel sorry for blue staters who CAN’T escape. I thank God I live in a red State and am not trapped, because short of living with family, we couldn’t afford to move to another State.
