I don’t have any sweaters I particularly look forward to wearing. LOL They’re nice but it wouldn’t bother me a bit if I never needed to wear them. Just not a cold-weather person.
Yes, the wind was the kicker today. When I opened the back door to step out, it took my breath away when it blasted me. Without the wind, it would have just been brisk outside.
As I said, this week is where we should be with temps and it won’t be uncomfortable .... as long as that wind lays down!

Deliveries are slower this year...most of the 3 day delivery packages I’ve sent for the last couple months can take up to 2 weeks. Hopefully your son’s package is going to a bigger city.
Well, then I hope the wind stays down. The cold is enough without the added “wind chill” to send it lower.
It’s 37 here right now. I don’t think I’ll be going out to see how it feels. The kitties are all tucked up into their warm spots...and all is well with the world. :)

Work is good just parts are hard to get and everything is more expensive.
Daughter, husband and dog still here, trying to find an apartment.
My back is horrible but it is what it is.
3 days to work this week and we send the guys home for Christmas

Yep, wind chill takes all the fun out of being outside during winter. A stiff breeze during summer is a plus though!
We’re down to 28 at the moment. I was sitting here a few minutes ago wondering if the heater wasn’t working because it was getting cool in the room. Nope. The heater’s working just fine. Lorien was curled up on the darn vent in here, blocking the heat. LOL
It must not have been too chilly if others were out there with their dogs too. Gizmo looked pretty happy with the roaming and rolling he go to do. :-)
Nothing like a kitty to stop up the heating vent. LOL! How funny! It’s 35 here, and I’m glad it’s not 28. It’s nearly the same there as it is in Anchorage! Brrrr!
This gal was my buddys sister, they Eric and Scott flew to Antarctica in crappo weather to extract her... Brrrr
they got her home and she lived 7 more years. :) Good boys but Scott is questionable :)

We’ve run cats off the vents many times. Most have wised up and only lie across one end, not blocking the heat completely, and I let them stay. Lorien had the whole vent covered in here and it made a difference. Not cold but noticeably cooler. Stinker.
We have a couple of degrees on Anchorage but thank goodness we don’t have the snow! It’s pretty to look at on the LH cam but they can keep it up there! LOL
