I have seen this story posted all over the place lately.

Left wing company closes its offices due to covid during the holidays when most employees wouldn’t be coming in anyway.

Why is this news?

CNN is closing its offices to employees who do not need to work in person.

That would mean everyone.

They can make it all up from home instead.

Good point. It doesn't even matter if it is a left wing company. A lot of places that I have worked over the years, basically shutdown operations over Christmas, particularly manufacturing companies, because they had a lot of people taking vacation days before they lose them on Jan 1.
