Liberals need to be careful what they wish for. What would happen if we took into account the taxes paid by white people and the welfare benefits received by non-white people, and it turned out that whites were paying an average of $20,000 per family and blacks were receiving an average of $20,000 per family? Is that structural racism? Would “anti-racism” mean government programs have to correct this imbalance? It’s like BLM and defunding the police: liberals whine and protest in 2020, and the next year in 2021 there are an additional two thousand blacks who are murdered (almost all by each other). Be careful what you wish for.
I don’t care how this is phrased.
Essentially, they are paying more per patient for people who aren’t white.
Let’s imagine the opposite. Let’s say Trump offered doctors more money to treat white people. That would be OK right?
I want my healthcare premium to be based on my race and ethnicity. Wonder if that’s what biden is promoting?
Respect patients for the content of the character and not because of the color of their skin.

Just to state the obvious - a “bonus for doing X” especially in health care is a euphemism for “a penalty for not doing X”.

And as a doc, I am sure you know the demographic statistics and correlations to disease. I would suspect that you discriminate based on those stats - which as nothing to do with content of character in most cases (I was going to put a period after ‘character’, but it you know the stats on STDs in DC among young gay black men and you practiced medicine there you would even ignore the content of their character.)
