I’m no millennial, but I’m darn close to that. A $100 cash withdrawal from the ATM lasts months. I haven’t carried any pocket change in over a decade. Every now and then I used to run into some need for cash, but those are getting very rare now.
What you are seeing is the future of the SA - a government funded “NGO” or charity that resettles or provides aid to illegal aliens and other blights on society.
One of the radical left's goals is to destroy all charitable organizations, so that people only have the government to turn to.
I believe the Salvation Army was infiltrated, and that this was done deliverately.
That said, they (SA) should have issued an apology, and condemned all racism, against any race. (Then again, the MSM would have run a smear campaign against them if they did this.)

I stopped donating to SA years ago, because I realized their doctrine conflicts with mine and my synod had charities needing support too.
I emailed Salvation Army. Told them I used to put $5 or $10 in every kettle I encountered at Christmas. Giant. Safeway. Walmart. In both Burke and Fairfax. But since they went woke, they will never get another penny ever.
Nobody is giving this year. Sad to to see some old man needlessly ringing a bell and wishing everyone well. I feel for him. Everyone passes him by. There are ads in the paper for volunteers to man the kettles. I’ve never seen that before. I gave every year until this. I feel guilty but I have other places to give to others.
Ah... Comic books.
Arkhaven has good stuff, but they are about the ONLY company I would spend money on.
I used to get Transformers and GI Joe as a kid, but they died a long time ago.
Used to buy Gillette too. Since I started to shave. Stopped that. Same with many publishing companies.
However, I know some working in those areas. They WELCOME the backlash so they can “change the culture of systemic racism by highlighting how white people act!” So when a flavor of the month author flames outs, they can blame white men and get cred.
Went to a Hobby Lobby last evening to pick up some art supplies. Usually there is a bell ringer and kettle there, now, nothing. They went hard left and they can’t be fixed.
