He’s married to Midge Dector.
I am damning for his association with Buckley and Kristol, not NR. NR is just example of Buckley’s legacy.
I met them both at the 1993 National Review summit in San Diego. Got to interview Mr. Podhoretz. Excellent gentleman. He defined what neoconservatism was for me in its original break with liberalism. Midge Dector gave a speech where she said pornography was a device for men caught in perpetual puberty. Both of them were brilliant.
