It is tampering with “evidence” if entered into a legal/congressional hearing or investigation. That is why corrupt FBI official was indicted in the Steele Dossier fraud case.
So when is the committee going to censor schiff for editing the text message?
Perhaps Jordan has acquired legal counsel and has been told not to speak about this until they STRIKE at Schiff!!!
Sureas Shift and some on the Left even now act as though they think they have plausible deniability about those.
Still, some see subtle shades of difference between the penumbras of acknowledged secrets and unacknowledged open secrets.
Yeah, explains a lot.
My former employer was an Orthodox Jew and he hated both of those SOBs Schiff and Schumer with a passion. He called them JINOs (Jews In Name Only).
It is tampering with evidence.
It is grounds for dissolution of the Committee.
It is grounds for nullification of all Committee actions against anyone and everyone.
It is grounds for censure of Rep. Schiff.
It is grounds for prosecution of same.
It is grounds for removal from the House.
And it is grounds for several other very negative follow-on consequences that cannot be enumerated here.
The most merciful thing that could happen, at this point, would be the ground open op and swallow him whole, but that might give Mother Earth, uhhh, “food poisoning” that would lead to some kind of hugely destructive eruption.
Come to think of it, though; if that happened in Washington, I’ve gotta ask, “would I be saddened?”
Hmmmm.

No, I don’t see that such subtleties will give them cover; I don’t think that committee can hide their traitorous activities. But more secrets are due to be more completely disclosed. The definition of a proper whistleblower (rather than co-conspirator) will become clearer.
That is, in part, some of the people on that committee will be soon face very serious charges for what they seem to think are clever, nuanced activities.
Attempts to ruin the lives of guys like Bannon and Meadows are not-so-veiled, continued attacks on President Trump, of course. Such attacks won’t age well.
Schiff did this with the transcript of the call between president Trump and the Ukraine president. Before a congressional committee.
