re: “As I said...sit down, junior. I’ve wasted enough time on you. “

You poor, poor fellow. When WILL you grow up? Again, you’re not half as smart as you think you are.

You would probably be surprised to know that cable systems here in the DFW area in the mid/late-70’s actually CARRIED the WSR-57 RADAR imagery from the WSR-57 located in Stephenville ... I personally used a grease pencil to plot storm movement at that time. The image was monochrome, and looked like an early ‘scan converter’ tube (PPI to raster) was being used ... shortly thereafter the first digitizers were put in service by the NWS at the WSR-57 sites giving colorized RADAR imagery and ‘VIP’ levels (VIP for ‘Video Integrator and Processor’) for use in broadcast and on the cable systems ...

NONE of that I am sure you had any knowledge of.

Example of WSR-57 imagery used in research:

Yeah, I can search the web and pretend to be things as well. Took you long enough to dig all that up. I see you like to pretend you know a lot. Tell you what…go clean up your mom’s basement.
