Most all of the mRNA vaccines are going to rapidly lose effectiveness because they use only confer partial immunity since only the circa 2019 spike protein is used as an antigen. The spike proteins are the component that mutates fastest so the spike protein rapidly becomes and obsolete antigen for variants like the Delta and the Omicron. The more extensive and evolved the spike mutations of the covid variants , the less effective the obsolete 2019 spike proteins are as an antigen. The signature feature of the Omicron variant is extensive and significant mutations in the spike proteins
