I used to have great respect for the Salvation Army. But for me they’ve gone from hero to zero. Let’s hope they can right themselves. That will take time.
I dunno...some people have long memories. I know I quit giving anything to United Way when I found out about one generation of managers there were milking it for bennies and perks AND their funding of abortion providers/advocators/assisters, LGBTQ stuff and a host of other smaller triggered groups.
I told a foul mouthed disrespectful kid I was trying to help that restoring your reputation and respect is like having lost your virginity; you can’t get it back. Not with me anyway. Once you have shown your true bad character there isn’t much left of you to recover.
Like so many things, elevator down and a long difficult climb of stairs back up.
