Walgreens is having a rough time on the public relations front, as incidents keep arising where they are allegedly mixing up flu shots with coronavirus vaccines.
A family in Evansville, Indiana, said they were all given adult doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine instead of the flu shot on Oct. 4, WFIE-TV reported.
The family's two children are 4 and 5 years old, and the Pfizer vaccine has not yet been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for their age group.
Attorney Daniel Tuley, who is representing the family, said Walgreens contacted the family after their appointment to admit the mistake, and ended up issuing them all coronavirus vaccination cards.
While accidentally receiving the shot is likely not a health risk for the parents, there is cause for concern for the children that were injected with the full adult dosage.

If this was an accident, The Pharmacist at this Walgreens should have their license revoke. Someone needs to be held accountable. Is this really accidental?
Well, it seems that shots get mixed up all the time these days. Just ask arec barwin. Although he didn’t actually PULL the trigger. Maybe the ranch is haunted?
Happens a little too often to be “accidental”. Anyone trusting that they are getting a flu shot is an idiot.
It is well known that medical mistakes kill more people in a year than diseases.
Got advised a couple weeks ago at the VA I was behind on my vaxxes. CV, Flu, Pneumonia. I apprised the doc that I ‘decline those’. He started to write ‘refused’. When I checked later, to my surpise, he had entered ‘declined’. Semantics.
Right now, there is not a chance in **** I would go anywhere and get a voluntary shot such as Tetanus booster (don't need one), or a flu shot (I never get them anyway), vitamin, whatever. I won't give anyone the opportunity to "accidentally" put me in the trial. Until this whole mess clears up I am staying away from the medical establishment entirely. I'm not even going back for my yearly physical in a couple of months - going to put that off for a while, maybe skip this year.

Agreed. If they can mix this up, they could have given them something really bad - as in instantly fatal. You just cannot make mistakes with injections. Zero tolerance.
This is going to take more than a “So sorry” note and a box of chocolates to fix. The kids may experience a lifelong impact from this mistake.

Jesus. How are these pharmacies fvcking up so badly, and how are people too dumb to make sure they’re getting what they ask for? In hospitals, they ask your name and birthdate and confirm the labs you’re having blood drawn for that day. It should be similar in pharmacies confirming shots.
Any future shots I receive, I’ll demand to watch as the liquid is drawn from the vial...after I’ve read the label.

Giving your 4 or 5 year old a “flu shot” is crazy enough, IMO.
Make sure the label doesn’t have on it? “ACME FLU/PNEU/CONVID PREVENTER! GARE-UN-TEED SAFE AND F-ECTIVE”. Just sayin’. You thinkin’ the vials used on the elites actually had anti CONvid juice? Probably saline solution. Remember all the proclamation last year that some folks said there ain’t no way I’d take that shot if Trump had anything to do with it.

I’ve given up on regular flu shots. Not worth the mild illnesses I get afterward.
But even if I were inclined to get a flu shot this year? I would NOT do so.
Why would anyone trust Big Pharma? Would they, knowing I’ve not taken an EUA shot, sneak one in on me anyway?
