It’s a start. In run-off elections for Houston ISD board trustees, two conservatives defeated their incumbent Democrat opponents. National politics look to have influenced voters as they rejected hot button issues like Critical Race Theory and face mask mandates in Houston public schools. Both conservative candidates used the issues on the campaign trail.

In MY local, we just installed three staunch Conservatives to add to the two already in and for the first time have not only a majority, but a 5/4 majority with two potential swings from the other side.
We are SO looking forward to next year.

But for some reason this past year, a lot of school board members acted as if they were monarchs for life.
Houston has annexed so many communities over the years…if the voters in the suburban areas vote they can overcome the communist voting bloc. Moms voting to save their kids instead of voting with the commies helps too! The red wave is coming….

Localities do a crappy job of school board elections. Here you just get a list of people. You have no idea what they stand for. I guarantee the Dems through the unions know which ones toe the line.

To the people who run the schools, it sure as hell is. For our new board members, they sure better have their taxes in order, their personal lives in order, and nothing in the past other than being as pure as the wind-driven snow.
The Left means BUSINESS and they WILL do everything possible to prevent this ‘disease’ (as they see it) from spreading.
Meet the Press talking heads were aghast at the idea of patriotic America First Republicans getting involved in politics on the local level.
They spoke as if those positions were the property, the territory of Democrats and Democrats alone.
They insisted that any interference with Democrat elective offices was a “threat to democracy.”
Bidung’s bright idea.......gag.
Bidung even coached the media to characterize any criticisms of him as “a danger” to democracy.
Good thing we’re a republic ...not a democracy......snx.
