Chicken bones make great chum for catfish.
Dump them in a good spot and fish there a couple days later.
Chicken bones will soften up after they have been in the water and catfish will eat them.

I’m surprised it took California so long to follow their leader.
Put them in a box and send them to your favorite politician. That’s what I do in my messed up State.

Meat and fats do not compost well. They rot instead of compost.
This is one edict I refuse to comply with. I don’t see how it can be enforced, but if so, I guess I’ll be put in jail. FU, Governor Nuisance.
I try to not throw those in the bin
Either the dumpster or in the farm fields that surround my house. What the critters don’t get rid up gets plowed down in the spring
I really don’t create much of that stuff anyway. Mostly veggie scraps, paper products and coffee grounds

Maybe if we could raise chickens in such tight confines that they could not move, they would not have to develop the bone strength to stand up.
Thus, soft and small chicken bones.
Human waste is also labeled ‘recycled food’ - what are they telling us we have to do now?
