Yep, my kids used to watch some young guy from the UK talk about minecraft game. I used to put him down and say he should work and make a living. Then I found out the dude made $30 million one year. I don’t put down bloggers and youtubers anymore.

That’s ok. My hair never came back fully after chemo. So, I have to keep it ‘pixie’ length otherwise it looks scraggly.

"I'd be shocked if they made a dime."

I follow a few channels on YouTube, mostly involving RV's and RV life. A number of these have come from nothing to more than a little something. One individual went from homeless and living in a van to owning a large house outside Las Vegas, and several Teslas. He specializes in solar systems and reviews of solar-related tech of all sorts.

He is somewhat atypical, but many channels do really well financially for their owners.

"Bunch of thieving homos, the lot."

Thus displaying your own ignorance.

In 1980 the international car stereo manufacturer where I worked decided to close their regional distribution branch. The branch manager was unable to give me any sort of severance so he did the next best thing - gave me a bunch of equipment.

I opened a sole proprietor retail business, complete with a (I thought) catchy trade name. Things went well for about two years. Then I was approached by an attorney who claimed that I was committing some sort of trade infringement. It seems that someone incorporated a business and chose the same name and I was using. Difference was that they were savvy enough to register the name (being a shoestring operation it had never occurred to me that this was something I needed to do).

I protested that I had coined the name first but ultimately I had to surrender it and dream up something else. My business venture eventually failed but so did the upstart company that crashed me. Business can be cut-throat!

My daughter had a high school friend who became an influencer. I always thought she was an idiot. But she got companies to donate all sorts of baby gear and furniture when she had kids,

And after a year or so, her followers left, her sponsors left…and she reverted to being an idiot.
