According to the New York Times
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan, who still has a job despite presiding over one of the most humiliating national security disasters in history, was the subject of a New York Times profile published Tuesday.
The Times described Sullivan, 45, as a "figure of fascination in recent months, something between sympathy and schadenfreude." The profile included a number of previously unknown facts about the impeccably credentialed foreign policy wunderkind, the funnest of which are detailed below for your enjoyment:
1) He leads a dangerously unhealthy lifestyle.
The Times reports that Sullivan "operated on an average of two hours of sleep a night for the duration of the three-week crisis in Afghanistan in August," would "mull over each long day during late-night walks home from the White House," and "often continue his meditations at home on a rowing machine."
That's not cool, bro. In fact, Sullivan's refusal to take care of himself could pose a threat to national security. According to experts at Harvard, lack of sleep "exacts a toll on perception and judgment" and leads to "reduced efficiency and productivity, errors, and accidents" in the workplace. No wonder the Afghanistan withdrawal was such a disaster.
2) He's a curling aficionado.
Sullivan is a "lean former marathon runner" who "has been known to dabble in eclectic hobbies." This is one of them. In addition to his unhealthy sleeping habits, it might explain why he always looks like a corpse that has been hastily dethawed.
3) He's a competitive speed walker.
4) Everyone still thinks he's a f—ing genius
Democrats continue to think highly of the failed bureaucrat hailed as a "once-in-a-generation intellect" by his current boss, and "a potential future president" by his former boss, Hillary Clinton. "Colleagues" describe him as "ambitious and intense, but not in the obnoxious manner of a Washington type," which is exactly how an obnoxious Washington type would describe another (more successful) obnoxious Washington type on background to the New York Times.
In all his wisdom, Sullivan was one of the only Washington insiders who was "not surprised" by Clinton's humiliating defeat to Donald Trump in the 2016 election, but is somehow really bad at doing his job. He's worked his ass off to accumulate an unparalleled résumé of failure and national embarrassment. Some people are just born to be in it.
5) His old boss Hillary Clinton has plenty of free time for interviews.
Clinton and Sullivan. You couldn't name a more iconic duo in the category of overhyped political failures.
And his wife, Margaret Goodlander (sp?) works for the DOJ....I think under JOHN DURHAM!! ahem.....
Looks like a CADAVER!
He peddled the Hoax
2017 Jake Sullivan on CNN peddling the Alfa Bank hoax

Guy looks like the prototypical SS officer.
I’m waiting for an indication of “genius” other than the grossly inflated myopic opinions of the insiders of the worst administration in American history. Surely success has to be at least one criterion? Find me a single success. Just one.
“Sullivan, who still has a job ...”
Then hes not a failure...unfortunately
Jake Sullivan is a sociopath. I watch the guy lie with those dead eyes, and I understand what kind of people could run concentration camps.

Thanks Marv.
An obsessive personality incapable of delegating tasks to subordinates. He needs to be a keeper of a Lighthouse miles off the coast.
A negotiator, like Hillary Clinton, without a moral compass.
I expected corrupt men and women to flock to government, that has been going on since before 1775. But, I never envisioned the likes of Jake Sullivan and those of his ilk to take positions of power. We can fix this, but time is running out and many very good Americans do not appreciate the dangers facing us.
“two hours of sleep a night”
So he was sleeping during the day. Someone who gets only 2 hours of sleep in a 24-hour period for even several days running, much less 3 weeks, would be a psychotic zombie. Yes, it might explain a lot, but he’s Clintoning.
