This doesn’t sound good.

BTW, Senator Ericksen is a great senator. Hope everything turns out OK.

Not only that!

The whereabouts of a mail deliverer in my area who had a pulled muscle in his groin are likewise unknown!

Call out the Nat'l Guard!

I get the feeling that law enforcement might also be searching for this guy.

Naturally, he is a Republican.

more details from the article:

“...the other lawmakers if they knew of any way he could get it.

“It’s to the point I would feel it would be beneficial for me to receive an IV of monoclonal antibodies [Regeneron],” he said, per the NBC affiliate.

He arranged for a flight from El Salvador shortly thereafter, according to a former state lawmaker who talked to local Washington newspaper The Bellingham Herald, and was then taken to the Florida hospital.

No one has since heard from the lawmaker, who has served Washington state for decades.”

His wife doesn’t know where he is or is she missing, too?

and was then taken to the Florida hospital.

Rushed through a Remdesivir/ventilator treatment, dies and chocked up as another $30k from fedgov covid funds? Who cares who he was, that's money that we need.

What a crock. I read the article. It appears the nobody author didn’t try contacting Senator Eriksen’s office.

Senator Eriksen is a good guy. It amazes me that he keeps getting elected in Whatcom County all things considered. Many in Whatcom suffer from a form of King County envy and there are lefties galore up there at Western, a university that is trying to outdo Evergreen State not to mention the Lummi’s who fight with Doug regularly.

Doug is a good listener too. He was one of if not the very first Washington State Republican to endorse and hugely supported President Trump from the get-go. My prayers are with him, but I’m pretty sure he’s okay.

“Senator Eriksen is a good guy.”

Exactly right. He’s my senator. People on this thread don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Doug Ericksen is a solid conservative and has been fighting the left for a long time. My prayers go out to him and his family.

I've known Doug since 1999 when we began working on rail issues, both freight and passenger. He was our "legislative shepherd" on guiding our request for a state study on reactivating freight rail lines in the Cascade foothills that had been railbanked.

I've long hoped that he would run for governor.
