A doctor friend of mine who’s very libral tells me the data coming out of South Africa is good right now. Yes, OmicronXi is easily transmittable but its causing a fraction of hospitalizations and deaths compared to Delta. Said they need a few more weeks of data. Said the best thing is to let it rip through America and he firmly believes this will be the end of the China Flu. He’s a firm believer in ivermectin and naturally immunity. He also HATES fauci.

When i told him they will never let that happen in this country, he completely agreed.

I am curious.... given that almost every single person who contracts Covid survives and MOST have little illness how do they claim efficacy of the vaccine against the virus?

In other words, if our bodies overcome the virus almost every time how do they tell it minimizes illness? The numbers I have been looking at on vaccinated and mortality frankly don’t look much different than the numbers we saw pre-vaccine and possibly they are even worse.

Honest question. I don’t trust them and want to see for myself and the best data we have are the bulk numbers for nations that are honestly or more honestly reporting the numbers.

Scientists found omicron resulted in about a 41-fold reduction in levels of neutralizing antibodies produced by people who had received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech SE shot, compared with the strain detected in China almost two years ago.”

so, to me, that sentence says that omicron actually DESTROYS antibodies produced by the Pfizer jab, and if my math is correct, a 41-fold decrease means that omicron DESTROYS 97.6% of the antibodies produced by a double-jab of Pfizer ...

i’ve never heard of a virus actually destroying antibodies ...

OTOH, this TIME article could have been written by complete morons who flunked elementary school science ...

It is really, really important to actually get the data right. Your breathless pearl clutching of “experimental” DNA is a bald face lie. There is no DNA in the Pfizer or Moderna vaccination platforms. Your screen name technically right is rather ironic, dont you think?
