With Ivermectin in Hand, Wife Dies While Husband Begs Hospital to Administer
The Epoch Times ^ | December 11, 2021 | Beth Brelje

David DeLuca of Sicklerville, New Jersey will never know if the Ivermectin prescribed by an out-of-state doctor for his wife would have saved her life. Colleen DeLuca, 62, died of COVID-19 on Oct. 10, at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital in Sewell, New Jersey, before he could get a court order to administer the drug.

Ivermectin has helped in some cases,  but across the United States, many hospitals don’t include it in their COVID protocol for treatment and refuse to use it, even as a last effort on a dying patient.

Buffalo, New York attorney Ralph Lorigo has spent the last 11 months handling cases where the family wants to try Ivermectin and must get a court order to force hospitals to allow the drug to be administered. DeLuca had Lorigo draw up papers for court, but because Lorigo doesn’t practice in New Jersey, he instructed DeLuca to find a New Jersey attorney to file the papers and handle the case. However, DeLuca couldn’t find an attorney willing to take on the case.

“They kept telling me the magistrates of New Jersey will never let this go through. Now I’ve got to go through the next 25 years without her,” grief stricken David DeLuca, 62, told The Epoch Times. “My 3-year-old granddaughter kisses her photo at night.”

I would say that as long as the families sign a waiver to take the hospital off the hook for liability then any last efforts could be deployed. Unfortunately, too many say yes, and then claim the were under duress.

I take zinc, quercetin, D3 and double vitamin C. I thinbk I’m good. No idea how to make HCQ and not sure I’d trust myself in that endeavor :)

I can’t believe what has happened to American medicine with Covid. Total malpractice, violations of Hippocratic oath, and a general desire to cause harm.

Indeed.

And, and even GREATER distrust, for the American medical community, than there ever was.

When I took Ivermectin I had been very sick for about five days. After the first pill I felt significantly better 18 hours later.

Mom broke her hip in August and had emergency surgery at a Rochester, NY, hospital. She hadn’t been vaxed and was adamantly opposed to it when it was suggested. They didn’t refuse to treat her. They were careful to put her in a room with another unvaxed patient.

I read here on FR that in order for Ivermectin to be effective, it needed to be taken very early in the process before severe symptoms.

I don’t believe she was at the time, but I can’t recall for sure. Her and her husband may have never taken the vax, though her husband is much more adamant about it than she.

“I read here on FR that in order for Ivermectin to be effective, it needed to be taken very early in the process before severe symptoms.”

I supposed it’s different for different people. For me I started it about 8 days into Covid.

9/19/21 In the afternoon I knew there was a problem. I walked into the grocery store feeling normal to get Gatorade for Hubby. By the time I checked out I could hardly stand up. A guy near me in the aisle actually caught me when I was wobbly.

9/21/21 Tested positive.

9/21-27 Temp. of 103°. No appetite. NO energy. Cough. Hallucinations and weird dreams. (The cats were worried; they surrounded me on the bed 24/7.) Sister thought I might die just from talking to me. She had ordered ivermectin from India early on, and brought me pills.

9/27/21 Took ivermectin at 6 a.m. Felt noticeable relief about 6 hours later. Felt better 18 hours later; fever was down. 24 hours later I felt GOOD, in that I was up doing my regular activities.

Just in case someone says it would’ve been the same without ivermectin...

Hubby got sick on 9/15, and tested positive on 9/17. He refused ivermectin when I started it — believed it’s just for horses. He was in terrible shape until a whole week after I was feeling good.

We tested our oxygen a few times daily. Fortunately, the results never got to a dangerous level.

So ... maybe anecdotal, but that’s how it was in our house.

:)

I also have a supply on hand for “just in case” later on — from our compounding pharmacy.

My sis takes it prophetically — 2 pills/week, per the pharmacist.

The story referenced in the OP relates the person was for all intents and purposes at the end of the line. I personally think ivermectin for Covid is snake oil. BUT, I’m not sure why a Hail Mary approach wouldn’t or couldn’t be used in an end of life situation.
