Yep, warmer is a bad thing with these systems. Our dewpoints are quite high as well so we’re a little unnerved. But we’re used to it and will deal with whatever happens and hope for the best.

No, I didn’t hear about the people in the nursing home. Such sad news.
I went ahead and hopped in the shower in case the power gets knocked out in the morning and missed that news. Sounds bad in Mayfield, KY from what Brett just posted. :-(

The wind wasn’t too bad here during the day but it’s picking up slowly as the front approaches. It was a tad too cool to open windows so the dusting I did last night is still looking fresh. LOL

if the ducks are anything like our cats, they could be stuffed to the point of being barely able to walk and they’d still beg for more. LOL Bottomless pits.

200???? Holy cow!! They need to stop spreading the word to other ducks in town!

We hope the brunt misses us, too, but it isn’t looking all that good based on the weather report a minute ago. All we can do is hope because we have no control over it.
But dang it, we aren’t supposed to have to deal with this kind of weather in December! This is supposed to be over with for the year. LOL

Very smart to have those tires. Makes life easier. Swapping tires is a pain in the hiney.

No, we don’t get all that much snow during winter any more. We get a heavy hit once in a while though. Our snow isn’t like northern snow. It’s wet and it tends to melt a little during the day and freeze overnight, making the roads treacherous. I can’t count the number of northerners who have moved here and laughed that our schools close if we get an inch of snow. They’re usually the first to skid off the icy road. And people like that are why I just stay home when it snows. I don’t want to get run over. LOL

Good idea to be prepared. You never know, but it kind of seems that it is going northeast. Might even end up in Ohio, MY, so hold on to your hat! Of course, I’m sure there is more than one system in that area.

Tornados move SW to NE, running up the cold front. I’m keeping an eye on the line that’s growing down in TX and southwest AR. As all that moves east, tornados firing up along it would be what could affect us in the morning.
