Smollett, who is Black and gay, told Chicago police in January 2019 that he had been physically attacked and subjected to racist and homophobic slurs late at night in the city’s Streeterville neighborhood. He said his assailants poured an unknown chemical substance on him and yelled, “This is MAGA country,” referring to Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.

Yes, those two things Dave Chappelle called out. MAGA hats in Chicago and any Trump voter knowing who Jussie Smollett was, let alone knowing anything about the TV show Empire.

how about it. I first saw it at FR about 7 hours after the attack. We pretty much picked it apart in no time.

Then we followed Rob Elgas from Chicago ABC news. PJMedia also did a nice job was relaying his tweets and reporting on the libs being hurt,

Elgas did great reporting\investigating on this story. Gave the facts...no opinions. Had sources in the Chicago Police Dept. and his reporting was continuous.
