As California descends deeper into drought, officials are growing increasingly troubled by dwindling water supplies and the public’s lackluster response to calls for conservation, with residents in recent months falling short of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s request for a voluntary 15% reduction in usage.

This is so frikkin ridiculous, Not a Single person in the News Media except Katy Grimes has ever looked at this issue and reported the Truth. The only reason we are in a drought today is because of Deliberate Mismanagement.

Here are some relevant articles at the California Globe with the REAL FACTS that not a Single Reporter dare bring up.

There a re a lot of links to all the articles detailing the blatant corruption and deliberate mismanagement.

Fortunately our houses are on wells so it won't affect me personally, but I am still LEAVING IN 3 YEARS because the State I grew up in is in the middle of complete societal decay and it is just a matter of time until it all collapses

We’ll probably have more rain than we know what to do with it. We’re due.

Someone could point out that there’s a fairly large body of water just west of California and free for the taking. All that’s needed are a few nuke powered desalination plants.

Already left three years ago. Funny how they blame the water shortage on nature when its due to government policy, but blame changes in global temperatures on industry even though it is due nature.

There has not been a single gallon of storage added to CA’s watershed in 50 years, in spite of the population doubling.

Then we wonder why we’re in a constant state of short supply.

The water shortage is man made (unlike climate change).

The Romans over 2,000 years ago knew how to move water from the mountains to Rome but for some reason the State of California can not figure it out.

But build more dams? NAAWWW. Develop desalinization plants? NAAWWW. Just keep pouring billions of gallons of fresh water into the ocean to save that bait fish (or not).

The only reason we are in a drought today is because of Deliberate Mismanagement.

**************

That is a general truism that applies to many of our problems that have not been proactively or wisely managed.

Of course, “fixing problems” is generally more lucrative and career enhancing than preventing them.

Face it. If you live long enough in California there is a good chance you go crazy. Caucasians evolved in a climate where there was less intense sunlight and freezing cold was the norm. Their neurological systems evolved to function best in such a climate. Now many live in areas where it never freezes and there is constant bright sunlight. Many Caucasians don’t do well and become irrational in this setting.

Nothing works in California anymore. They can't competently manage their water supply, power grid, forests, ports, schools, unemployment claims, etc etc.

I understand the Israelis are really good at desalinization.

Seems like they made some big breakthrough sometime back.

“The only reason we are in a drought today is because of Deliberate Mismanagement. “

While this is true, it is only half the problem. The Google earth tool is free. Just try to count all the backyard swimming pools, artificial lakes, green parks, and golf courses. It would take a couple years. The leftist hypocritical “environmentalists” are just fine with this and will not sacrifice lifestyle. They want to steal it from everyone else instead.

Wonder if they have a clue about desalination plant like one near Frisco as that produces 1.000.000 gallons of water a day no shortage of ocean water.
Before anyone asks about all the salt we have been miming salt for over a 100 years replace it.

Just tell everyone to pee in their front yards. If in a Condo or high rise just pee over the balcony and create yellow rain.

Cool. They can use all the money from the fines to pay the interest on all the bonds we’ve passed through the years to fix the water problems that never got done. A new revenue source for the concerned officials. It’s expensive to get the right people to sit around with their finger stuck up their ass.
