President Biden reportedly plans to award the Medal of Honor to three service members who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, including one who would be the first Black soldier to receive the nation's highest military honor for either war.
Biden is expected to recognize the men by Dec. 16, The Washington Post reported, citing four current and former officials who spoke on the ondition of anonymity.

I have never in my live given a single rat’s ass about the race of any person awarded a Medal of Honor. This is no exception.
But I despise the racially motivated people who push this kind of narrative “the first black man”
From the accounts, that soldier deserves it, and I have nothing but respect for him and honor his memory.
But the execrable racists pushing it will only distract from honoring him, from Biden on down through every media outlet pushing it, and they all deserve only contempt and disgust.
To them, this President, Administration, and all their allies who were responsible for the Afghan debacle this year...this man is a tool, and they should be roundly criticized for even mentioning his color.
Have there not been MOH recipients of other races?
Question did they go find someone who is black? Of course I doubt that but where is it important at all. Race , Creed, or Color have nothing to do that.
According to the Demonrats, no one has ever received nor achieved a MOH (or any award, post, or title) unless bestowed by a Demonrat.
90 to black servicemen including 26 in the Civil War.
Nice racism there, Mr. Brad Dress.
Biden has no business at all being within the same zip code as any of those ceremonies. No business at all.
Biden will tell those in attendance how his son Beau died a hero’s death for his service in Iraq.
Betcha he gives Beau one next year
It is racist for the military to even note the race of the recipients. I’m grateful to the recipients, and ashamed of the military.
Democrat controlled Congress. It will be his only chance to push it through
Would not it be wonderful if, when President Trump re-enters the White House, they have a special, individual medal ceremony for each one, and they have a record of receiving it from a President that actually loves the United States of America. One can dream.
First Black to receive the MoH - Sgt William Carney, 1900. For action which occured in 1863. 91 MoH received by Blacks (one man got two). Count doesn't include 9 Puerto Ricans.
The President does NOT award the Medal of Honor. Congress does.
Obunghole attempted to do the same thing.
The sHill is lying?
That is it exactly. And it really angers me, cheapens the process, and turns the process into a political tool to be used for political gain.
I despise it.
