President Biden on Wednesday said the United States is not considering sending troops to Ukraine amid rising fears about the possibility of a Russian military invasion.
“That is not on the table,” Biden told reporters at the White House before departing for a trip to Kansas City, Mo.
“We have a moral obligation and a legal obligation to our NATO allies if they were to attack under Article 5, it’s a sacred obligation. That obligation does not extend to … Ukraine,” he added.

I have heard that there is no truth to the rumor that during the meeting with Putin Brandon was sitting on Jeff Dunham’s knee.
I really hope Putin releases the tape or full transcript of his virtual "meeting" with the "Hero of Afghanistan" who surrendered to the mighty Taliban.
I used the word “support” to avoid the implication that we guaranteed their independence. But I believe Clinton did promise military aid in exchange for their giving up the nukes in their possession.
Can’t disagree about the abundance of thieves in that part of the world.
this means we will, not he, them ..
NATO is a red herring. The operative agreement is this:

Well this proves troops in Ukraine on the ground Is on the table.
Duh!
The whole thing is about putting in US “Trip Wire” troops to prevent a “Russian Invasion” and make the Ukraine Currupto state in power forever. With USA Backing they can take back Lost Lands, force the Russians out of the Black Sea—end the Naval threat and put Ukraine on track to becoming a rich state. Ukraine can move on Moldavia —make new treaties with Turkey. Really rather brilliant as far as plans go-—BUT, it has a few flaws—What does Germany want? What does NATO want? To work Biden’s Democrats must stay in control forever. Need more Covid! Need more crime, need more Antifa.
Ukraine is not in NATO
Maybe not, but don’t TELL them that. He just gave Ukraine to Russia.
“Biden: Sending US troops to Ukraine ‘not on the table’” ... YET. No one has figured out what an acceptable number of Ukrainian refugees are and where we’ll put them and how we’ll support them in the U.S.
And all article 5 says is that we may take whatever actions we deem necessary. That can be a strongly worded letter. We are under no legal obligation.
The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United
Nations,
****will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary*****,
including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.”
