SINGAPORE - From Wednesday (Dec 8), those who are unvaccinated "by choice" against Covid-19 and become infected will have to pay for their own treatment. We answer some questions you may have on this topic. Q: Does the rule apply to those who are already hospitalised before Dec 8?

A: This will apply to all unvaccinated Covid-19 patients admitted on or after Dec 8, 2021, to hospitals and Covid-19 treatment facilities. The Covid-19 medical bills for those who are ineligible for vaccination, such as children under 12 years old or those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, will still be fully paid for by the Government. Q: I have received one dose of the vaccine. Do I have to pay for treatment if I am hospitalised for Covid-19 before the second dose?

A: No. The authorities have said those who are partially vaccinated will not be charged until Dec 31 to allow them time to be fully vaccinated.

Vaxxed people feel more free to go on living normal life. Restaurants on land have lots of un-vaxxed people and it is easy to catch infection.

Vaccines do NOT build a filter in nose to stop virus material from floating in. The virus does not care if the person is vaxxed or not. It just comes in with the breath and lodges in respiratory tract and immediately starts replicating. You can easily test positive. Only then role of vaccine comes in play. If the vaccine was successful in creating extra stock of anti-bodies, then your chances of killing the virus before it makes you seriously sick are much better.

This snapshot from a real American hospital is good indication of unvaxxed Americans 6 times more likely to require hospitalization from covid infection.

My nephew is a plastic surgeon in Florida, doing mostly all elective surgeries. He would kill to achieve safety numbers of the covid vaccine.

99% safe is simple math. It would require 2,342,690 fatalities from the vaccine. I am sure you have links handy to show 2,342,690 Americans have perished from the vaccine.
