Rampant foreign trade is okay, as long as you can feed the
family.
Our national family stands a good chance of doing that
figuratively on a number of fronts.
There are a lot of essentials on the line right now, and
China can shut the door any time it wants.
Imagine a military with no medical care available, because
no medications are.
Imagine the public in the same boat.
We are so screwed.
If they try to take Taiwan, Japan will probably go after them. Not that Japan wants to defend Taiwan but because Japan will be next.

Why 7 weeks quarantine for crew members? They already live very isolated lives. They’re pretty much in quarantine month after month anyway, they live on the ships, only get off once every 6 months to go visit family for 2 weeks.
Is China calculating that they will wreck their own economy, but wreck ours even more, therefore, at price, nonetheless gain the upper hand?

Well they cannot blame Trump for this war. If he were in office the media would have the public in a frenzy it is Trump’s fault blah, blah, blah. When it is clear this is all China’s idea.
Don’t forget a 7 week stall/slow-down and how badly that will damage the United States economy too. Not just products, but food too. We send chicken to be processed in China who then is supposed to ship it back. And more recently they own a lot of the pork industry as well. Lot’s of FR thinks a “famine” won’t affect the United States. I do not think they realize how much we get from China.
Last I heard, the awesome China socialist jab was avoided by all who could afford to bribe a doctor to give them a western made jab.
At this point it’s becoming increasingly obvious that their objective is to mess with global supply chains.

I’m in the manufacturing sector, a sector that was told by the 1990’s that you’re on a Laissez-faire doctrine, good luck.
Chinese manufacturers filled the void with cheap products.
Without those cheap products the American wealth machine wouldn’t have done squat.
Our supply chain issues were create by the policies of our
government and wall street which aren’t owned by foreigners.
This was a self inflicted wound created by the elite & accepted by the voters.
Woke has been the predominant ideology in vogue in America since 1964. It worked as long a foreign slave grunts could produce for the United States.
Those days are over and the American establishment is throwing “foreigner conspiracy theories” against the wall to distract from their disastrous trade, agricultural, & manufacturing policies for the last 30 years.
