President Joe Biden was seen waving to Russian President Vladimir Putin and chucking during what was supposed to be a tense video call on Tuesday morning.

Russian news agencies released video of the first few minutes of the call.

Biden experienced some technical difficulties on the call, apparently forgetting to switch his microphone on.

I’m a geezer who grew up during cold war. Hide under the desk when the nuke goes off, that sort of thing. The idea that decades later we’d be depending on Russian news agencies to let us know what happened during a call between a Russian leader and the President of the U.S. is mind boggling. The idea that their media would be more believable than ours...even more so.
