Russia’s natural population has undergone its largest peacetime decline in recorded history over the last 12 months, according to an analysis of official government statistics made by a prominent independent demographer, as the country battles a deadly fourth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The natural population, a number calculated from registered deaths and births, excluding the impact of migration, declined by 997,000 between October 2020 and September 2021, the demographer Alexei Raksha has calculated.

Russia’s Christian population will be replaced with Muslims. They will be the most heavily armed Muslim nation. The population decline will be exponential when the Muslims start converting or killing the remaining Russians.

More than four million, of them million are citizens now.
The article is misleading in the sense that before covid there has been about 12 million labor migrants in Russia. Some went home and got stuck due to covid restrictions.
I’m always amazed at the Russia lovers on FR.
If Russia invades Ukraine, we can bleed the Russian military and economy. Neighboring countries, Poland in particular, can provide safe haven for Ukrainian guerillas. The CIA can set up training camps in the neighboring countries. Stingers can bring those Russian planes down just as they did in Afghanistan.
Russia won’t have 40 million new citizens. It will have 40 million combatants.

The greatest disaster to ever befall Russia and the West for that matter (perhaps besides the concept of Communism) is the PILL!
When I look at my own family, the older generations usually had 4-6-9 kids. They were poor, but you know those kids grew up and had so much character and independence. Many joined the military and fought in wars, moved away and began families. Smaller families now with higher material wealth and quieter self absorbed children.
Quiet kids don’t become the type of adults who go out and challenge crime in the streets, they don’t challenge growing Muslim populations. Our grandparents were born with 6 competing siblings and learned to struggle for everything.
I know, I am an only child. (which is why I had 3 kids, 7 grandkids and regret not having 4-5 kids).
