I have similar concerns.
My point was about all the freepers going orgasmic that their anti Vax bias was confirmed by 10 vaxed people testing positive out of thousands.
It’s a great example of confirmation bias which we all suffer from to one extent or other.
It’s a cautionary tale to be conscious of our biases and whether they are well founded.
As for your other points, I don’t disagree with most of them. There’s is definitely politics and disinformation on BOTH sides, and as far as long term effects we still don’t know, which is totally understandable and undeniable given that it’s so new.
I got my jabs because I’m 73 with heart problems, so I just played the odds. I’m not in favor of mandates - people and companies should make their own decisions, and if I had little kids I would not let them get vaxed - same reason, playing the odds.
Does any of this make sense?
Yes...I understand, but I’m not willing to take the risk that you did. I’m 72, renal stenosis, controlled high blood pressure, already one stent, circulation problems in the legs and high creatnine levels and taking blood thinners. I’m not about to take anything that is remotely reported to have impacts with blood clotting and the like. I am simply not going to believe the party line pushed out by a man who can’t even tell where he is most days, let alone that little monster Fauci.
