PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) — Donald Trump’s new social media company and its special purpose acquisition company partner say the partner has agreements for $1 billion in capital from institutional investors.
The former president launched his new company, Trump Media & Technology Group, in October. He unveiled plans for a new messaging app called “Truth Social” to rival Twitter and the other social media platforms that banned him following the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Trump is listed as chair of TMTG. He will get tens of millions in special bonus shares if the combined company performs well, handing the former president possibly billions of dollars in paper wealth

I cannot wait to have this launch and take off.
This is how it had to be.
This is America and we needed capitalism to challenge these social media apps which got controlled by the gubmint and since a privately owned company they could do things the gubmint can’t do.
We needed a leader, someone to set the system up and work it through.
The stronger always wins....in nature, in the sky, in survival of the species.
But they need a leader first.
This will work.
Rumble is purely political. You have to have gaming, music, sports comedy, old videos, old popular commercials etc. Those videos don’t even belong to YouTube. Download them and upload them to rumble. Without a cultural component it won’t be successful.
Perhaps more interesting is Mr. Orlando’s role as CEO of Yunhong International (ticker: ZGYH), another SPAC where he is CEO. Yunhong International is located in an office building in Wuhan, China, according to SEC filings. I think he’s partnering with thiel too on a paypal like entity and maybe even something like give send go that doesn’t cherry pick on who deserves fundraising.
I also think, and this is just me, they’ll go after CNN to compete with faux news.
rumble just went from 1.6m subsribers to 30m in less than a year. they’re getting there and it will explode now that they have that kind of funding behind them.

As far as the 2024 Presidential field goes, its not looking good for anti Trump partisans.
But....but....he’s not running again..he’s too old.
Its laughable, but Trump haters are left with basically this position. A position that looks foolish after “old man” Biden’s “Big Steal of 2020.”
Joseph Robinette Biden isn’t half the competitor Donald J Trump is. Trump could die tomorrow and I’ll write him in 2 more times. Once in the 2024 Republican Primary and once in the General Election.
