On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Florida Agriculture Commissioner and gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried (D) reacted to Gov. Ron DeSantis proposing the creation of the Florida State Guard, which previously existed in Florida and would make Florida the 23rd state in America to have an active state guard by stating that DeSantis is “an authoritarian dictator here in our state,” and that DeSantis is asking for unvaccinated people from New York to come to Florida, “and now he’s going to employ them here in the state of Florida.”
Fried said, “This is horrifying…when you were going through all of those headlines, each one individually is scary enough, when you put them all together and then you see this last action, where he’s not only forming his own army, but that — an army that is not accountable to anybody, not to the people of our state, not to the Constitution, but he’s asked our legislature for $100 million to fund this. This is a time when families are struggling, parents are trying to make the hard decisions of whether to put gas in their tank or buy another loaf of bread. And so yeah, I do think that one of these issues is he’s asking for these individuals to come down from New York unvaccinated and now he’s going to employ them here in the state of Florida.”

Having a real State Guard would go a LONG way to preventing the involuntary re-settling of illegal aliens by demonrat human traffickers sticking them in the State of FL- no skills, nothing but criminal talent imported by criminal Leftists.
Irony is thick here. A dictator would be one who denies people their rights to travel, to assemble, to worship, to work, to conduct business, to enjoy a meal in a restaurant, to defend themselves, right to privacy, etc, without having to show their papers or wear the equivalent of a yellow star.
Do you remember the lib who stated about Fidel Castro “any dictator who gives me free medical coverage is a dictator I like…” That is the liberal mindset.

I wonder how many New Yorkers will take him up on this and what it will cost to employ them. I am all for people deciding for themselves whether to vaxx or not, but I think government should play a neutral role, neither forcing nor discouraging people to get the vaxx.

I'm in Europe frequently for work and you're absolutely right, the news they get from the U.S. is completely one-sided CNN, MSNBC, and BBC style trash. If you spent an hour watching anything available there you'd be convinced Ron DeSantis was the devil incarnate and Gavin Newsom was the savior of the universe. Europeans understand nothing about American politics because everything they know about the U.S. is complete filtered Marxist drivel.
