How did USA's CIA let its staffers get away with the sexual exploitation of children?

America’s secret service agency CIA has had credible information about the sexual exploitation of children by at least 10 of its employees and contractors in the past 14 years, reported Buzzfeed News. However, only one of them was charged with a crime while the others were subject to an internal investigation that allowed the sexual offenders to go scot-free.

The information was accessed through 3 lawsuits filed under the Freedom of Information Act and 13 public records requests. Buzzfeed found that the Central Intelligence Agency sought to handle the sensitive cases ‘internally’, thereby ensuring that the child sexual offenders got away with job loss or security clearance. The handling of the cases by the CIA was in stark contrast with other US federal agencies such as the Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Homeland Security.

As per sources, the agency protects its employees to prevent loss of control over sensitive information. The internal documents, submitted to the CIA’s Office of the Inspector General, have detailed cases of sexual abuse. In one case, an employee was found guilty of making sexual contact with a 2-year-old toddler and a 6-year-old child. In another case, a CIA official bought 3 explicit videos of young girls, which were shot by their mothers. One employee was found to have viewed over 1400 child sexual abuse images during assignments.

In January 2010, a CIA contractor had tried to solicit sex from an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) who was posing as a child. The contractor, who had confessed about his obsession with child abuse images, had entered a chatroom using the IP address of the secret agency. When the Inspector General received a warrant to search the contents of the computer, it was found that the hard drives were removed and supposedly thrown away.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the CIA is concerned.

Needs to be shut down!

I’ll bet that an investigation of the State Department would turn up exponentially more sexual exploitation of children.

Draining the swamp means breaking the CIA into a thousand pieces and scattering it into the winds.

The CIA might look tough.

But they’re nothing in the face of a fully informed American populace.

Like I said Jeff tip of the iceberg. They seriously knew none of this was happening?

Child sexual abuse by UN peacekeepers

An Associated Press (AP) investigation revealed in 2017 that more than 100 United Nations (UN) peacekeepers ran a child sex ring in Haiti over a 10-year period and none were ever jailed. The report further found that over the previous 12 years there had been almost 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other UN personnel around the world. AP found the abuse to be much greater than originally thought. After the AP report, U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, urged all countries to hold UN peacekeepers accountable for any sexual abuse and exploitation. As early as 2004, Amnesty International reported that under-age girls were being kidnapped, tortured and forced into prostitution in Kosovo with UN and NATO personnel being the customers driving the demand for the sex slaves. The UN's department of peacekeeping in New York acknowledged at that time that "peacekeepers have come to be seen as part of the problem in trafficking rather than the solution"

And yet some conservatives wonder how the corrupt government leaders can coax these law enforcement agents into doing anything legal or illegal.

For the mob-like leaders of the corrupt elites, the more dirt you have on someone the better...

Unrelated aside: the federal government could make a profit off of whoring at a Nevada cathouse they’d seized.

Every time anyone wants government to do more they should be forced to both acknowledge that and explain it.

I was brought up thinking our government was more or less “the good guys”. I’m not so sure of that now.

The ‘good guys can always be infiltrated by ‘bad’ guys and when no one is left but ‘bad’ guys.....who is going to ‘fix’ it?

Once people get in to gov positions they get greedy.

The correct protocol in such cases is hush everything up, then voluntold the individual to run for Congress.

Finance them and help them win—and then CIA owns another Congress-critter.

Easy peasy.

The answer to the subject question is, “It is the same reason hillary clinton is not in jail right now either.”
