PLEASE do not sell Texas short. We have a (relatively) small bunch of Republicans who DEMAND that our House Speaker be a hard-core RINO, or they’ll vote for a Democrat Speaker...so we keep getting Paul Ryan types...non stop.
The GOP, in general, are doing absolutely nothing that could change the polls going into the 2022 elections since they hold big leads presently. The base will vote for them no matter what they don’t do but the swing votes might change. The current abortion debate at SC could tip the scales back to Dims if Roe is not upheld so victory margins may suffer.
This the same group of good old boys that make sure Limpsey wins his primary every 6 years.
Exactly....never underestimate the RINO’s ability to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.
