I don't know if you're referring to the Republican leadership or to me. but I never even came close to saying this. What I'm talking about about is the kind of attitude that was rife here on FR: "Republicans will never win another election in this country!" "We might as well not vote!", "I'm never voting again--I'm done!", "The nation is lost!", that kind of pearl-clutching crap.
Yeah, I decided to do it again only because of sense of duty.

A Virginian I know took part in a highly organized effort by Republican citizens to oversee election day polls. I don’t know if this has been reported anywhere?

You know that the nationwide effort orchestrated by Steve Bannon is having an effect when the media has recently been screaming about it. If it were ineffective, they would say nothing to deter us from wasting our time.
To start with, the GOP’s nomination of an electable slate of candidates, Biden’s cratering poll numbers, McAuliffe’s reprehensible stance on CRT, the breakdown of the school systems in NoVA, the disgusting mishandling of the rape of the girl at school in Loudoun County, and Virginia’s penchant for usually electing governors that are not in the same party as the president.

That sounds great. Wisconsin is one of the few upper midwest states I would live in, despite tilting toward D’s in presidential elections. It seems the state has a lot of conservatives and they often control the state government. Winsconsin seems beautiful too with all the lakes and so forth. And last, but not least, I LOVE cheese! (I wanna vacay in Wisconsin and take 3 or 4 coolers for all the cheese to bring back.) :)
The fraud happens outside of the counting and voting. Sure you can watch them accurately count manufactured mail-in fraud votes, the system is f’d.

Only reason I have any confidence in not needing to break down to a shooting fest, is because VA proved, if we can watch Every ballot location, every drop box, with lawyers and multiple watchers, we can mitigate the fraud.
Biden won partially by Dominion tweaking numbers, but a lot of ballots were altered by counters with zero oversight. I am 100% convinced of this.
