Bars and restaurants in Auckland, New Zealand, have reopened after almost four months of lockdown as the country eases COVID-19 measures and enters the first phase of its new "traffic light" system.

The new system being implemented is intended to curb the spread of coronavirus while stopping short of lockdowns. It will require that people be fully vaccinated to do certain things, the Associated Press reported.

It quoted Auckland Business Chamber chief executive Michael Barnett as saying that many bar owners were figuring out how to comply with new rules that they require employees to check their patrons vaccine status to enter their establishments.

Bar and restaurant owners need to pretend to look at “papers please” and the customers need to show fake documents.

Even the local Karens won’t know the difference, as long as it is trusted restaurant and bar employees who can keep silent.

New Zealand must be governed by a bunch of fools. Give DeSantis a call and he will tell them how to control Covid 19.
He uses common sense.

“Bar and restaurant owners need to pretend to look at “papers please” and the customers need to show fake documents.“

Pretending to be compliant is just as bad as compliance. What the govt is doing is wrong and should not be condoned, even with a workaround.

Workarounds are how the real world works in the Third World, so we better get good at it.

That mean bribery, fakery, lying, camouflage, subterfuge etc.

That is how real people will survive in the future technological dystopia.

If you want to call it “compliance”, go for it!
