Will listen later when I have time Publius ((((Hugs))))
I long ago decided to ‘forgive’ Todd for his vicious hate towards conservatives. It’s gotten worse as he has aged.
I separate the music from the man.
He also produced an usual singing duo of brothers in a group called Sparks. More recently, Todd produced music from Kayne, but ended up saying it was one of the most unproductive job “Dilettante” Kayne. Kayne probably didn’t know what dilettante meant until he ordered someone to google it for him. It’s someone who dabbles in a project and is never really serious about it.
Open My Eyes is what always comes to mind with the Nazz
Thanks Cecily ((((Hugs)))))
No instruments are used on this recording because the instrumentalists were on strike. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful tune, as were many that came out during the strike.
:) I have it real loud Tommy ((((Hugs))))
I am going to go.Thanks everyone for your help with Troop thread.
Such a Love (1957)
RE: one of Van Morrison’s top five albums....
Do you mean Born To Sing...No Plan B (or You’re Driving Me Crazy with Joey Defrancesco). Assume Born To Sing.
What are your other four in the list, please?
Also, did you see the updated book/magazine Ultimate Van Morrison Music Guide from Uncut? $19.95 but nice.
Open the Door, Richard--The Pied Pipers (1947)
Surprised you didn’t mention this one, an outtake from “Quadrophenia”

Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) - Bruce Springstein / E Street Shuffle
Back when the E Street band was smokin’ and Bruce hadn’t turned into a complete A Hole. When my wife and I were first dating in January of 1977 we saw the band at the Jai alai Fronton in Fern Park, FL
