OXFORD, MI -- A fourth victim has died after the Tuesday shooting at Oxford High School, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Justin Shilling, 15, died at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac at approximately 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, according to an update from Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe.
A total of 11 people were shot, 10 students and a teacher during the Tuesday, Nov. 30 incident at Oxford High School.
The three additional deceased victims are Madisyn Baldwin,17; Tate Myre, 16; and Hana St. Juliana, 14.
Myre died in a patrol car while deputies were transporting him to a hospital immediately due to the severity of his injuries, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office had a preliminary meeting with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office Wednesday morning and is still gathering more information about the shooting.
Authorities are not currently naming the suspect, a 15-year-old sophomore who lives in the Village of Oxford, because he is a juvenile and has not been charged as an adult, Bouchard said. He is currently detained in Oakland County Children’s Village.
The suspect was arrested without injury at the high school by deputies and had a 9 mm pistol with seven bullets loaded in it when he was apprehended, Bouchard said.
The gun was purchased Nov. 26, four days prior to the shooting, by the suspect’s father, he said, adding that two 15-round magazines were found at the school and a third is expected to be found as the investigation progresses.
Ethan Crumbly is his name. I find no reference to his race, which I find interesting.
The injuries were brutal. From what I’ve read online outside of the news these were head and chest shots. Other than that some defensive wounds where the kids were holding up their hands to shield themselves and shot in the hand or wrist. Just freaking brutal. That kid meant total business!

If the parents left the gun in their house unsecured, they are also to blame.
The kid (murderer) posted as if the gun was owned by himself, talked about target practicing.

Per Oakland County Sheriff Bouchard,
32 used cartridge shells and 2- 15 round magazines recovered at the scene, and the perp was found with 18 rounds in his possession. 7 individual rounds were found in his pocket and 11 in a magazine.
This likely indicates that at least 3- 15 round magazines were used.
I count 50 rounds in total, which would match a box of 50...
No mention of ammo type used- ie: hard ball/FMJ vs hollow point.
It sounds like brave heroes might have physically overwhelmed the shooter, possibly costing one or more of the individuals their life.
Parents had a meeting with the school & murdering slug the morning of the shooting…..

Living in the area, my understanding is that one of he deceased, Tate Myre, was trying to stop him. Heroes come in all sizes & ages here.

LOL, so I’m a “dolt” and a “racist” for making a perfectly logical observation based on past history of the media almost NEVER mentioning the race if they are black and IMMEDIATELY mentioning it if the perp is white.
That being said, do me a favor and check your meds because I think you have to up the dosage on your asshole prevention pills

Therein lies the problem. This case is going to cost the U.S. the 2nd Amendment. His parents have an American flag outside their house. Thus Terrorism.
