Yet another prominent evangelical Christian who proselytized against vaccines has died after being hospitalized with COVID.
Marcus Lamb, founder and CEO of Daystar Television, was 64.
“This morning at 4 a.m. the president and founder of Daystar and the love of my life went to be with Jesus,” said his wife, Joni, during a Tuesday morning broadcast, reported Religion News Service. “I wanted you to hear from me that he’s with the Lord.”
She also said that Lamb had diabetes and went to the hospital after his oxygen levels dropped, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
The network he founded also announced his death.
“It’s with a heavy heart we announce that Marcus Lamb, president and founder of Daystar Television Network, went home to be with the Lord this morning,” the network said on Twitter. “The family asks that their privacy be respected as they grieve this difficult loss. Please continue to lift them up in prayer.”

Excellent. Thank you for the info and education.
“Newbie”
And there it is, the “go to” weak-kneed FReeper response when a person realizes they lack the ability, intelligence and critical thinking skills necessary to hold their ground in a discussion / argument. It is the equivalent of a 4 year old calling somebody a “poopy face”.
“So if you’re shot you shouldn’t go to the hospital?”
That’s a non sequitur, Sunshine. We’re talking about covid here. Try to focus.
Without ALL the details this report is USELESS.

Great and good idea. You initiated this entire exchange when you responded to a post that did not include you. You stuck your nose into my conversation with another FReeper and now you’re upset because your insults to me are weak and have no effect.
Suggest you grow up.
I caught some of last night’s show and was shocked that he died! I had no idea. From a couple of comments he was awake and joking around, etc and then....died? is that what happened?
In 2020 the going rate of reimbursement to healthcare providers was $72k for hospitalization and intubation. The feds reduced that to the current $50k if they get you to take the test and send you home, thereby removing the early treatment option of IVM, HCQ. The feds are now playing with monoclonal transfusion, but only for non-Caucasians in parts of the country.
If he went to the hospital and they put him on Remdisivir and the vent it doesn’t matter what he was taking, he was dead from the first dose.
Again, watch their broadcast from yesterday (Ministry Now) as well as previous. He was never on a vent. He died suddenly, heart stopped, sounds like perhaps he threw a clot to the heart.
$50k - $72k! It’s worse than I thought.
That would do it!
The presence and severity of symptoms varies for COVID just like it does for literally every infectious disease, for everything from colds and the flu to plague to ebola to polio to HIV/AIDS. We can detect COVID infections with a variety of different COVID tests - claiming otherwise is wrong. Diagnoses can also be made through differential diagnosis of symptoms.
So what? Did you know that Koch's postulate is largely wrong? It was formulated long before viruses were discovered, and before we knew that many diseases can be symptomless (Koch himself admitted that he was wrong when he learned more about cholera and typhoid fever).
They should do Serology Test, but the problem is, SARS-C0V-2 never been isolated. Dr. Brian Ardis, CEO of Ardis Laboratory, said they can't do Serology Test to test C0VID-19 because CDC, NIH, NAID have yet to provide isolated sample, analysis and abstract of the virus for comparison.
Utter nonsense. Where on earth do you find this stuff? Dozens and dozens of serology tests for COVID exist.
Here's a list: https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/covid-19TestingToolkit/serology/Serology-based-tests-for-COVID-19.html
Yes it is. Like all tests it's not fool proof but the specificity rate is something like 95%.
Anyone know someone who has had the kind of test they give when you have strep or the flu?
Both the flu and strep are commonly detected with antigen tests. Antigen tests for COVID are widely available at pretty much every drug store in the United States. They're faster but less accurate than PCR though.
Yes. Determining Covid-19 is a diagnosis.
Determining presence of SARS-CoV-2 does not test for Covid-19 but does support the diagnosis.
At what PCR rate is it 95% effective? My State does not track the PCR cycle they are running tests at. There are credible reports that the unvaxxed are having their tests run at 45 cycles, and the vaxxed at 25. The numbers of false positives at 45 are in the high 80% range, and even at 25 the false negatives and positives are in the 30% range.
You need to quit listening and reading mainstream media. So much of what you believe, just isn’t true.
I agree with false positives.
