A conservative group run by Marc Short, who served as former Vice President Mike Pence's chief of staff, is set to launch an ad campaign to encourage Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va) to oppose the $1.7 trillion social spending and climate package in an attempt to stop it from being passed.
The Coalition to Protect American Workers is set to launch an ad campaign worth nearly $800,000 this week in West Virginia. According to NBC News, the ads will air over two weeks and will reiterate issues that Manchin has raised about the social spending package in the past

I feel like I’m in some other world...as everyone here thinks that this is a sellout, as if the Pedophile Cabin Republicans are calling on Manchin to support Biden, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

I suspect it’s a case of anything that Pence supports must be something that we oppose (or vice versa).
It does help to read just what Pence supports before calling him a sellout on a particular issue.
That sounds like the story of a short video featured here on FR a few days ago. Some guy told us his girlfriend invited lots of people over for her Friendsgiving Dinner. They all told her they would be there, but in the end nobody showed up, not one person.
There she sat with wide, slightly teared up puppy dog eyes, all alone at the dinnertable, now covered in a white tablecloth, covered with decorative placemats.
Many of the remarks were LOL. Others said there must have been a very specific reason ALL those people didn’t show up, a reason the boyfriend didn’t tell us.
Never underestimate the power of not reading beyond the headline in the era of the 24 hour news cycle. I sadly predict it’s not going to get any better. Our brains just don’t seem to handle it very well.
