I have one co-worker who already resigned rather than reveal his jab info to the company (Federal contractor). His last day is Jan. 18 (the day of supposed full vaccination if you complied), but perhaps he can take a breather and work longer now.

That's dumb. If you resign, you have almost no recourse whatsoever in the future related to that job/quitting. If you just wait and force them to fire you, you have a lot more options regarding UI, lawsuits, reinstatement when courts rule it's all a nogo, etc. But if you quit, they can easily say that you leaving was voluntary on your part.
