I got the same reply from a Barnes and Noble staff member. “We had 3 copies that sold out and and we don’t expect more copies till Dec. 24.” I ordered the book and and on Nov.30 my copy arrived at the store. When I paid for the book the staff member said the book is sold only if it is ordered.
Suppression much?
“When I paid for the book the staff member said the book is sold only if it is ordered. Suppression much?”
WOW!
With staff members like that, Barnes and Noble won't be in business very much longer.
What the...???
“Barnes and Noble … the staff member said the book is sold only if it is ordered”
I suppose they then led you to the front of the store where books by Michelle Obama, Oprah or other current liberal favorites are falling off the shelves and stacked halfway to the ceiling.
It's "distributed" by Simon and Schuster, but printed by a small outfit known, for some categories of work, as Skyhorse Publishing. Think shoestring publishing or self-publishing. They don't print them up in quantity and stash them in expensive warehouses, or truck them all over the country, which isn't cheap these days either.
Now that it's selling, there will be a "second printing," as it used to be known. Actually it'll be N+1 where N is how many have already been purchased.
Better off buying it via Kindle, that way you won't spend much $$ and you already know it'll look like a dog.
