I was at Safeway two weeks ago. No whole hams. Someone else asked the manager about that. He replied that he had ordered fifty hams two weeks previously, but had not received any.
Saw the same thing at Safeway, Nob Hill, Walmart and Smart & Final...
Just has my Instacart order delivered this afternoon.
I had a few substitutions in the order, but the delivery person said things are getting real thin. In fact, she said a number of items from my order were the last ones on the shelf!
Not sure if it is all supply chain related or covid-scare related.
