Americans have started factoring a state's political ideology into their decision to move as the nation grows increasingly polarized.
A survey from Redfin, a real-estate brokerage firm based in Seattle, predicted more people would vote with their feet in 2022, moving to states that align with their political beliefs about abortion, civil rights, mask and vaccine mandates and critical race theory.

A repeat of the events in 1861. Finally the tinder box lit off.
Moving from El Paso to South Alabama, a California family noticed my uhaul and asked where I was moving. I told them South Alabama.
They told me they were moving to Florida. I made sure and reminded them to leave whatever they left there, and vote like the rest of us when they get to Florida. They assured me they would.
Reminds me of Ruth in the Bible. And that’s good. She said the same thing....I will go where you will go, your people will be my people.....commendable on your part. Good man.
She took the same vow.
That’s an honorable position.
God bless you in these trying times
That’s what a guy from Montana told me. They don’t like the Californication of their state but Southerners are welcome. (Sorry to you California conservatives).
Oh ok. I thought you had facts or statistics or something......like the article does. Your opinion. Cool. Never mind.
The problem is many people will be leaving California and New York, not because they don’t like it, but because there are no jobs.
Where?...the bolsheviks are fleeing their enclaves en mass. Cali...NE...even places like Pittsburgh and Buffalo are descending on normal America like locusts!
As Federalism should dictate.
Each state is sovereign, with limited and defined federal cooperation.
Choose a place to live that fits your wants & needs.
The big problem is that The Left has used the Federal system to Nationalize everything they want, when and as they want it, while simultaneously blocking any attempts so rescind any overreach.

...and it has *nothing to do* with Demwit-run jackoffs coddling and even enabling crimes and criminals. /s
Ohio was purple but has become pretty solid red. Perhaps Florida as well.
“She took the same vow.”
And it’s not a suicide pact!
California once voted Republican. That will never happen again. Other states - Colorado, for example - are also moving in that direction. But I cannot think of a single state that was once solidly Democrat that is now solidly GOP.
(Sorry for the pessimism. But I’m just calling it as I’m seeing it.)
Secession bump.
Nobody wants to live with crazed violent libtards except other libtards 🤪
Do you actually see people MOVING to blue states? We know people are fleeing blue states. But what evidence is there that anyone is moving to the blue states.
Never voted rat in Kali
And this proud Texan never WILL vote rat until after I die...
Sigh. I wish I didn’t feel this way about my home state.
My wife is not particularly ideological, and she views me with some puzzlement sometimes, though she knows darn well who I am (and she should, after all these years!) For many years, she put up with me taking trips down to Washington DC to stand with the DC Chapter of Free Republic because she knew it was important to me. This is different. I will be going this alone if I begin standing on street corners with signs up here protesting the COVID restrictions.
I think I am going to have to begin demonstrating here, I heard our governor say that he is on board for COVID passports. Not that it will do any good. But I feel that I have to make myself heard, and writing to the offices of my elected officials is like peeing in the wind. There aren’t any worth writing.
As for Ruth, I remarked on another thread that I have made it a goal to read the Bible from cover to cover, and my next reading in line is The Book of Ruth...:)
