The United States and Britain warned Russia on Tuesday over any new military aggression against Ukraine as the Western military alliance NATO met to discuss Moscow’s intentions for massing troops on the border with the former Soviet republic.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was to brief his 29 NATO counterparts on Washington’s intelligence on the group’s eastern flank and in Ukraine, which is not a member.

Nobody, not even we Americans, believes the output of that pile of vermin currently stinking up the White House.
Putin doesn’t even want Ukraine. He may pay lip service to all those Russians living in the eastern half of Ukraine, but in reality he could care less.
For the USA, led by the communist puppet Joe Biden, to make any type of threats or demands against Putin and Russia, they fart in our general direction.
Cue the video of Vlad laughing. “Oh, okay brandon!” Of course the State Dept could threaten them with bringing back john f’n kohn-heinz-kerry to show up and bore them to death.

He wants the Eastern Part of Ukraine which is mostly Russian.
He has stated in the past, that he would be ok if the Western part of the Ukraine, which historically belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Poland, to become its own State free to join the EU and NATO, with main part of Ukraine, including Kiev, to be a neutral state.
I think this solution is the way to go.

False, for confirmation ask all those ethnic Russians in the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia that used to be under the Georgian boot.
Also you might ask Mikheil Saakashvili who went from Ukraine Hero to Georgian Prison for the Western "Policies" that Destroyed Georgia and Ukraine.
Or else Putin may laugh himself to death.

What a quaint way of putting it. How about “American aspirations to integrate Ukraine into the West (and turn Sevastopol into a NATO base) failed to materialize after a American-orchestrated armed putsch ousting the democratically-elected leader of Ukraine sparked off a bloody civil war in that nation and Russia reclaimed Crimea.”
As for US and British blustering: all hat, no cattle — and everyone knows it.

Hey to differ. Ukraine has a huge agricultural sector the largest open pit iron mine in Europe, the Antonov aircraft company, Odessa a large port on the Black Sea. Russia wants it back.
An arrangement similar to the one you outlined might be the kindest thing for the people living inside Ukraine’s present borders, but we will keep this thing going, smoldering, for as long as we can. It’s all about keeping NATO relevant.
