The last several months have seen a heated debate about the effectiveness of the vaccines that are being currently administered against Covid-19.
The question on many people’s minds is: Do these pharmaceuticals work?
Both sides tend to feel quite strongly about their position which gives rise to a great deal of emotion as the debate goes on.
The good news is that being nearly a year into the vast vaccination enterprise we now possess sufficient data to determine whether the shots are effective or not.
As we know, the objective of vaccination is to eliminate or significantly reduce the incidence of the targeted disease. If a vaccine works, then in a highly vaccinated population we will see either complete elimination of the disease or a significant decrease of its incidence.
Since it is usually not practicable to achieve 100 percent inoculation rate, the question is what is the vaccination level that will either bring the disease under control or eliminate it altogether?
This level is sometimes referred to as “herd immunity.” We were told at first by experts, most notably Dr. Anthony Fauci, that the vaccination rate of 60 to 70 percent would confer herd immunity in regard to Covid 19.
Fauci’s position was roughly in line with our experience with many other diseases where such levels of inoculation have either eliminated them or made them endemic, i.e., sufficiently limited so that they do not pose a large-scale, epidemic-level threat to the community.
Some twelve months into the worldwide vaccination drive there are now a number of countries with vaccination rates of between 60 and 70 percent. There are also some countries and geographical areas with rates of 80 percent or above.

Yup. As well as basic common sense. I know more people who have contracted COVID and been VERY ill POST THE SHOT than those who contracted it without. That is a hard fact.
Not only do they not work, they are exacerbating the problem.

Some of us began saying months ago that the vaccines:
Don’t prevent infection
Don’t prevent spread
Have serious adverse side effects.
Danged if we were not absolutely correct.
We have been told since about May of last year:
The disease is treatable
The disease is survivable
The CDC has been allowing people to die because they will not accept and recommend demonstrated effective protocols of:
Early treatment instead of just sending people home to get worse and end up on ventilators when they are on death’s door
Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin in combination with other drugs have a remarkable success rate.
The McCullough protocol is effective.
We had better start treating people instead of jabbing them with ineffective vaccine and effective poison.
Wake up, you are being scammed.
The clinical trials showed effectiveness for the length of the clinical trials against the variant of the time.
The economic recovery of the State of Florida in the first half of 2021 showed effectiveness against hospitalization and death against then current variants.
Do not bear false witness. It is a sin.
Against the new South African variant data, effectiveness is not known for sure.
From a data analytics perspective the numbers support the vaccines, pure and simple.
The summary is that vaccinated patients are 5 to 10 times more like to SURVIVE severe cases of COVID requiring hospitalization.
I don’t care that you catch it, we all will likely be exposed to it at some point. I want you to LIVE through it.
If you know someone who is in the vulnerable group, try not to talk them out of getting vaccinated if they don’t have a known comorbidity, that group is vulnerable no matter what and need to make an adult decision, they are at greater risk unvaccinated according to the verifiable numbers.
If the radicals here are triggered, I can’t help you. My argument is that the vaccines are a persons right to choose or not.

I know I will reach many with a balanced perspective and open mind.
If one has chosen to not get vaccinated, I support you 100%. I trust that you, as an adult have made and informed decision on the risk at hand. If you have been vaccinated, I support your decision that you have assessed the risk to you and made the decision in your best interests.
This is what conservatism is about. The freedom to make our own choices, not have one size fits all decisions inflicted on us by totalitarian asshats.
And we will base our decisions on verifiable, rock solid information, not outlier commentary or singular deviations from the facts that cannot be verified or sustained under scrutiny.
I’m not providing crunched number here, if someone wants the truth at this point they can make the effort to find it. I’ve provided the numbers which is all a truth seeker needs to begin their journey.

According to the clinical trials, for about six percent of the people most in need of protection, the vaccines will not provide good protection.
The vaccine protection tends to fade over time. Expect to have to get at least one booster shot. I will probably get my Moderna booster shot in late December since I like to travel in the springtime and want the booster to still be highly effective.

My guess is that the vaccine is doing exactly what it was designed to do rather than what they said it would do.

We were warned a year ago that the vacine is leaky and will drive the variants. The whole thing is futile. Unless your goal is totalitarian control, then the vacine has been phenomenally successful.

Nothing new about that as most things fail over time. We
have to make our choices as we see them and let life run
its course.
I had attributed the surge in covid cases among the vaccinated to simple human nature. The vaccinated believe they are protected, so they stop or lessen the protective measures they take. Maybe they don't wear a mask, or wash their hands as often, or aren't as careful about touching their face, or go out in public/crowds more - stuff like that. Believing they are protected they engage in more risky behaviors and thus have a surge in "breakthrough" cases.
That would explain some, but not all of the correlation and incredible increases in cases among the vaccinated. Obviously the vaccines are ineffective. They may confer some amount of protection. However that protection apparently takes a couple of weeks to build up, then rapidly deteriorates in a matter of weeks - becoming virtually nil in about 20 to 24 weeks. Combine nearly useless vaccines with natural variations and mutations of the virus and they might as well not get vaccinated at all.
But now, the data makes it apparent that not only is there no benefit to being vaccinated, but they appear to be harmful. They may be causing Antibody Dependent Enhancement. Or maybe they de-sensitize the immune system such that it cannot recognize a variant in time. Something is definitely not right. The vaccinated appear to be more at risk now than the unvaccinated. The coming cold and flu season in the northern hemisphere is probably going to be bad, very bad.
